Bethany Sauls Magnus is a partner whose areas of practice include all aspects of family law, employment law, and commercial and general litigation.

Bethany earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Mississippi College in 1999 and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi in 2002. While in law school, Ms. Magnus received the Outstanding Student Award.

Bethany was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2002 andis a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Gainesville-Northeastern Bar Association. In addition to practicing law, Bethany currently serves as Judge Pro Tempore of the Hall County Juvenile Court. She has taught several courses in the Paralegal Department of the University of North Georgia, formerly Gainesville State College, and is an active member of the community.

FAMILY: Bethany is married to Matt Magnus of Gainesville. They have two children and attend First Baptist Church in Gainesville.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT: Ms. Magnus has served as President of the Junior League of Gainesville-Hall County; President of The Medical Center Auxiliary; Secretary of WomenSource, Inc.; and, on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Mountain Food Bank. Ms. Magnus is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the North Georgia Community Foundation and is the co-chair of this year’s Empty Bowl Luncheon for the Georgia Mountain Food Bank. She is also serving as the legal division representative for United Way’s annual campaign drive. She has served on the Youth Leadership Hall County Planning Committee and as an Associate Director of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce. She is a graduate of Leadership Hall County and the Young Lawyer's Leadership Academy through the State Bar of Georgia.
