‚ÄčAFFILIATION/MEMBERSHIPS: Ms. Mitchell is a member of the Gainesville-Northeastern Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, the American Bar Association, the Gainesville Estate Planning Council, and the Georgia Academy of Healthcare Attorneys.

Cara R. Mitchell is a partner whose areas of practice include corporate law, corporate sales and acquisitionstax law, health care regulation, and business and estate planning. She earned a B.S. from the University of Arkansas in 1987 and an M.S. from Georgia Tech in 1989, both in microbiology. Ms. Mitchell was employed as a science writer and as an industrial engineer prior to returning to law school at the University of Georgia School of Law. There, she served on the Georgia Law Review and earned her law degree cum laude in 2003.

Ms. Mitchell brings a unique blend of scientific training and industrial and business experience to the practice of law. She enjoys working through complex matters and finding creative ways to advance her clients' interests. 

FAMILY: Ms. Mitchell and her family live in southern
Hall County.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT: She is proud to serve on the Board of Directors of the North Georgia Community Foundation.
