Bethany Sauls Magnus

Bethany Sauls Magnus is a partner whose areas of practice include family law (divorce, child custody, support, modifications, adoption); commercial litigation; general litigation; general estate planning; and, insurance defense. Ms. Magnus was born and raised in Clinton, Mississippi and earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Mississippi College in 1999 and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi in 2002. While in law school, Ms. Magnus received the Outstanding Student Award.

Ms. Magnus was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2002, and is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Gainesville-Northeastern Circuit Bar Association. Ms. Magnus currently serves as Judge Pro Tempore of the Hall County Juvenile Court, and she has taught several courses in the Paralegal Department of Gainesville State College over the past few years. She is active in the Gainesville-Hall County Junior League, where she currently serves as its President; the Medical Center Auxiliary (through Northeast Georgia Medical Center), where she is serving as President; and, WomenSource, where she is serving as Secretary of the Board of Directors and co-chair of the 3rd Annual Power of the Purse event. Ms. Magnus has also served on the Youth Leadership Hall County Planning Committee and the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce as an Associate Member of the Board of Directors in the recent past. She is a graduate of the 2005-2006 Leadership Hall County class and the 2008 Young Lawyer's Leadership Academy through the State Bar of Georgia.

Bethany is married to Matt Magnus of Gainesville, and they attend First Baptist Church in Gainesville. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, volunteering, gardening, watching sports, shopping and walking her two dogs, Marley and Annie.
