Scott B. Barloga

 

Scott B. Barloga is of  counsel in the firm and focuses his practice on estate planning, trust administration, estate settlement, wills and trusts. He has planned and implemented advanced tax sensitive estate and tax planning strategies for wealthy individuals and families. Scott also has considerable experience in representing privately held businesses from formation issues, corporate restructurings, capital markets, governance, negotiation and implementation of buy-sell agreements and other corporate transactions.


Scott earned an L.L.M. in taxation from the University of Florida in 2002, his juris doctor from the Walter F. Georgia School of Law at Mercer University in 1994 and his B.S. in Economics and Political Science from Florida State University in 1990. Scott was admitted to the Georgia and North Carolina Bars in 1994 and the Florida Bar in 1995, he is Bar Certified in Wills, Trusts & Estate by the Florida Bar and he has an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, which is based on peer reviews and is the highest rating a lawyer can obtain based on professional and ethical standards.
