Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DREAM Act) Update

USCIS today published required forms and detailed instructions about filing procedures, fees, and evidence necessary to satisfy the new “deferred action for childhood arrivals” (DACA) guidelines.  Eligibility for consideration is substantially the same as would be applicable under the proposed DREAM Act.  These guidelines will allow persons who were brought to the United States as children to apply for a two-year immunity from deportation for a work permit. Contact WDJW partner Madeline Wirt for details or to begin the application process.
